The bicycle structures were used as these were the only workable frames available to fit an engine of that magnitude. It was installed with peddles to start the rotation in the engine. The engine force was so intense that the rider had to reverse peddle to come to a halt.



Full-fledged production was not instituted before 1907 when an individual company was formed and the company contracted for over 800 two-wheelers in a decade. They were sold over the entire US country and it was when the company started to gain fame. It reached its peak when the Detroit Police department acknowledged the vehicle and bought a number of them for public service activities. The number of police departments using the vehicle reached 2500 within a decade after the launch of the company officially.
